Great Opportunity for London Based Social Enterprise

While the term "social enterprise" is ill defined at present, it basically has to do with putting people first. Companies that reinvest in their local (or global communities) in some sort of visible/tangible way could all be considered social enterprises (until some sort of regulation arises out of people taking advantage for marketing purposes).

Anywho, for those in search of funding in the London area for a social enterprise, definitely have a look at Good Deals sponsored by Social Enterprise Magazine.

Essentially, this is an opportunity to come to a room full of people (250 to be exact) and present your business idea. Half of the room will be other entrepreneurs and the other half will be investors interested in Social Enterprise. This "social investment conference" will be October 29 at the British Library (London), but you should act quickly to try to gain access so that you can make a pitch to the conference!

Good luck and hope to see some of you there.
