Jeremy Scott has had a HUGE 2009

For our designer of today we take a look into some of Jeremy Scott's work from this year. Between his work earlier this year with Linda Farrow eyewear (my favorite being the flinstones inspired television collaboration). Now some of the latest Originals by Originals collaboration with Adidas can be peeped below (full coverage at High Snobiety). The kicks were a big hit as part of the Jeremy Scott Flinstones themed runway show. Please excuse the poor image quality above-- taken on my phone at LFW Exhibition. Enjoy!

London Fashion Week Recap

I will be rolling out a number of featurettes this week on some of my favorite brands from fashion week. There will be at least one catwalk recap and a number of features on some of the brands who were on display in the exhibition. These will be rolled out over the course of the week as I get my hands on more of the press materials (photos, etc)... though in the meantime I am happy to share what I have.

First of all, it is worth noting that the British Fashion Council has done a wonderful job with fashion week this year with their move to Somerset House and 180 Strand. Somerset house is a wonderful place for the main catwalk area and provides some nice historical tones to a trendy to-do full of hipsters and artist types. Meanwhile, 180 Strand has been made into a venue perhaps more fitted for a warehouse-style rave (complete with a number of djs and on-site breakfast!) than for an industry event, yet the BFC have done great things with the space and it definitely has a younger, trendier feel. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

Keep your eyes fixed on the blog as features over the course of the week will include: Puma X Mihara 10th anniversary set, SUPER forthcoming S/S collection, Madras, House of Holland, Linda Farrow (and her work with Matthew Williamson, Jeremy Scott, HOH and others), live coverage from the KOKON TO ZAI catwalk show, and much more!
